BORDERGAME The theme of this video is agoraphobia. It is expressed through the music ("Ham" by Mr. Oizo), which is very organic and anxiety-inducing. As it accelerates with each split, it reinforces the heavy atmosphere. The use of split screens shows a growing crowd, a mass of individuals that becomes increasingly dense. The 1:1 aspect ratio is used because it feels narrow and more oppressive.
ROLLIN' AND SCRATCHIN' A marginal party takes place in a squat. Tension rises, and a serious incident brings the night to an end. The police arrive on the scene to investigate.
